Clare Sports Partnership is to receive a boost of nearly €350,000 in funding as part of Sport Ireland’s overall investment for 2021.
The bulk of the funding in this county is to go towards core and operational costs, with further investment earmarked in programme funding and the ‘Women In Sport’ programme.
Clare’s funding is more than three and a half per cent of the total nationwide investment of 9.5 million euro in sports parternships, which in itself is up 15 percent on 2020.

Nationally, Sport Ireland has also set aside a near 14 million euro investment in the core activity of 59 governing bodies across the country, along with 8.5 million euro to support High Performance programmes.
