Police in the North say 59 people have been arrested to date – in connection with loyalist rioting in Belfast.

More violence broke out last night – and 11 police officers were injured when protesters hurled bricks and fireworks at officers.
This is the third week of disturbances in the North – since Belfast City Council took the decision to restrict the flying of the Union flag at Belfast City Hall.
Police say of the 59 arrested – 41 have been charged, four have been reported to the Public Prosecution Service and 13 people have been released on bail.
Councillor Noel Williams has condemned the attack on a council meeting in Carrickfergus, where five loyalists broke in and shouted sectarian abuse.
