Almost 6 million euro in funding has been announced for cycling and walking infrastructure in Clare.
It’s part of a 70 million euro fund announced by the National Transport Authority and the Department of Transport towards active travel measures nationwide.
Almost 1 million euro will go towards ‘village enhancement’ throughout Clare, with 450,000 euro set aside for transport studies and mobility plans for this county.
