Four animal welfare charities in Clare are set to substantially benefit from a new Government funding boost.
Burren Animal Rescue in Tubber will receive just shy of €41,000, while Second Chance Animal Rescue in Shannon is in line for almost €31,500.

Clare Animal Welfare will be granted over €16,000, while the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group in Kilrush will be allocated €6,800.
It brings Clare’s total funding to €95,400, while nationwide the Department of Agriculture has granted over €6m to 101 animal welfare organisations.
