The Navy is providing assistance to a stricken ship off the Clare coast.

The MV Hellesport Charger is reported to have lost main engine power 100 nautical miles off Loop Head.
The LÉ Aisling reached the MV in the early hours of the morning and the vessels are currently on route to the Shannon estuary, where it’s expected to arrive this evening.
