Three sites in Clare have been announced as recipients for the prestigious Green Flag Award.
Active Ennis John O’Sullivan Park Lees Road and Active Ennis Tim Smyth Park in the county town, along with the Vandeleur Walled Gardans in Kilrush, are among 60 green spaces nationwide to receive the award.
The An Taisce Green Flag is is a mark of quality for a park or green space and recognised worldwide.
Clare County Council has welcomed the news.
