A West Clare oyster farming company have been hounoured with a prestigious national award.

Moyasta Oysters, which is run by the Galvin family, have been honoured for being Best in Aquaculture Innovation at BIM’s National Seafood Awards.
The Galvin’s have been farming in West Clare for generations, and were the first in the country to use a method of production that requires zero handling of the oysters as they mature.
