Mysterious sightings of a large bird, reported in townlands on the outskirts of Ennis, have now been explained.
A runaway emu has been re-united with its owner after it was trapped in recent weeks by a landowner in the Darragh area where the bird had been spotted in recent weeks.
The bird has now been brought back home to the Newhall area, a short distance away
