A Garda investigation's been launched into how information about plans to charge over 20 water charges protestors came into the public domain.

A Garda spokesperson says the force won't be commenting further on the issue – but confirmed an investigation into the leak is underway.
TD Paul Murphy says he finds it incredible that the media knew about plans to charge people before those who are expected to face court in connection the demonstration at Jobstown last year.
He's lodged complaints with the Garda Commissioner, GSOC and the DPP.
