Gardaí are expected to launch a murder inquiry this morning following the shooting dead of a father of two in Co. Cork yesterday.
36-year-old Darren Falsey was shot dead after he went to answer a call at the front door of his house at Ashbourne Court in Carrigaline yesterday.
Mr Falsey’s body was discovered by his partner, Lorraine Conroy after she returned to the house with her eight year old son just before 3pm.
