The Munster U20 Championship trophy is to be named in honour of a former Clare GAA legend.
Miltown man Noel Walsh, who passed away in 2020, was a former Chairman of Clare and Munster GAA and was also part of the Clare’s management team for the Banner’s 1992 Munster title victory.
His memory will be enshired in the Munster U20 football championship where the teams will compete for the Noel Walsh Cup.

His son, Carl Walsh says his father was relentless to make GAA a level playing field for every county.
