Mumps Cases Soar In MidWest

The number of reported cases of mumps in the MidWest has increased by over 600% this year.

Department of Health Figures, reported by TheJournal.ie, show there have been 189 reported cases of the disease in Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary so far this year.

That compares with just 29 in all of last year.
