Met Eireann has issued a status 'yellow' snow-ice warning which will remain in place until 10 o'clock this morning.

AA Roadwatch says there is snow around Letterkenny in Donegal, Mallow in Cork and Carrick-on-Shannon in Leitrim.
Icy road conditions are also reported around Monaghan Town and Mullingar with black ice on the Kilrush-to-Ennis Road in Clare.
Motorists are advised to drive with extreme care.
