The mother of a missing teenager who was last seen in Clare is appealing to the public for help in bringing her beloved son home.
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of 17 Year old Sean Ryan who left his home in Downpatrick Co.Armagh on September 1st 1998.
The last confirmed sighting of Seán was on September 5th when he received a lift from a local fisherman before speaking to a Garda while travelling in the direction of the Cliffs of Moher.
At the time, Sean was described as white, 5’ 7, of medium build, with hazel eyes, short brown hair, and having a mole on his left cheek, with a distinctive walk and was last wearing blue or brown jeans and his corduroy fur-lined brown jacket.
Sean’s mother Patricia Douglas has been telling Clare FM’s Daragh Dolan that it would mean the world to bring her cherished son home.
