Mother Of 8 Who Faced Homelessness Says Clare Social Housing Income Threshold Should Be Increased

A mother-of-8 who says she’s been forced to source a home outside of Clare is making fresh calls for social housing income thresholds to be increased.

Daniela Kinsella, who was based in this county, was living in a mobile home which had began to cave in, and was unable to find a place to rent here despite being able to afford the monthly costs.

She has now sourced alternative accommodation in Cork which has placed her on a lower income.
