Gardai have revealed they've arrested more than 450 people behind the wheel who were disqualified from driving.

Officers were given new powers at the end of June – up to that they couldn't arrest someone who'd been put off the road.
The Transport Committee has heard that 2015 could be the best year on record for road deaths – so far this year the number killed on our roads is down 31 on 2014.
