There are more people waiting on beds at the region's main hospital than any other hospital in the country today.

35 people are waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick, 15 of those in the emergency department while a further 20 are being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.
If follows a spike in numbers just over a week ago, where the numbers waiting on trolleys reached a record high of 56.
According to figures by the INMO, the number at University Hospital Galway also remains high with 27 people waiting on beds there.
