There are more people waiting on trolleys at the region's main hospital than any other hospital in the country.

31 patients are waiting for beds at Universty Hospital Limerick, 19 of those in the emergency department.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that more than 300 people are waiting on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
