A monument will be unveiled in Ennis this morning in memory of those who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.

The memorial will be located at the Ennis Peace Park, and will feature the names of 30 Irish people who died fighting for the Allied forces in South East Asia between 1964 and 1975.
The US defence attache from Dublin will attend the unveiling, along with the American Legion in Ireland and US Vietnam veterans.
It take place at the Peace Park, close to the Glor Theatre, at 11 o'clock.
