A moderate thunderstorm warning has been announced for Clare.
The status yellow event will come into effect at 2pm this afternoon and stay in place until 10pm this evening.

Met Éireann is warning of the potential for surface water flooding, lightning damage and difficult travelling conditions.
The status yellow warning will also apply to Limerick, Kerry and all of Connaught.
