Mixed reaction to speed limit changes

Clare’s Senior Road Engineers insists new speed limit reductions on approach routes to villages and towns across the county will save lives.

The changes, apply to 25 communities including Barefield, Corofin, Clonlara, Ennistymon, Carron, Clooney, Doolin and Lahinch, while limits at two further villages- Lissycasey and Kilshanny will increase on sections of the route.
