Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney says any action would be a retrograde step for Ireland – and has urged both sides to enter talks to resolve the dispute over the company’s pension fund.

Workers have voted in favour of a strike, if the issue isn’t resolved before December 16th.

Minister Coveney says the Cabinet will be briefed on the dispute today – and he said this is row that can be resolved.
