The Minister for Further and Higher Education claims the Government has already and will continue to deliver huge improvements at University Hospital Limerick.
The new coalition’s draft programme for government is promising to implement the recommendations of HIQA’s ongoing review of emergency healthcare in the region and to continue to increase bed capacity at UHL.

Today 110 patients are on trolleys there and by 2028 the Government is planning to add an additional 251 beds at the facility.
