Fianna Fáil’s calling for the Small Business Minister John Perry to clarify if he’s broken the ministerial code in his dealings with banks.

Yesterday the Sligo Deputy and his wife consented to an almost 2.5 million euro judgement against them over unpaid loans.
During the case it emerged he hoped to secure a loan from AIB and had also suggested he would speak about the matter to Bank of Ireland boss Richie Boucher.
Fianna Fáil Finance spokesman Michael McGrath says that’s a problem.
