Minister Defends Record On Homelessness In MidWest

The Housing Minister has acknowledged that issues remain with regards to homelessness in Clare, but he insists these are being addressed.

The most recent figures for homelessness, released to members of the Council Committee which deals with Housing, show 70 homeless adults and over 40 children homeless in Clare alone, and homelessness here has grown in the past 12 months.

This comes at a time when Minister Eoghan Murphy says the problem in Dublin is stabilising.
