Clare’s Junior Minister has labelled the Ireland 2040 plan as the first time a government has realised the strategic importance of this county.
Pat Breen is welcoming the €116 billion development strategy for Ireland, which was launched on Friday.
It outlines a number of areas which are set to see significant investment in the coming years – locally, the M20 motorway linking Limerick to Cork, a new 96-bed unit at UHL and €150 million for Shannon Group are among the most important.
