Efforts to ensure future postal services are available in a prominent West Clare town are currently underway.
Its after the Postmaster of Miltown Malbay informed An Post of her intention to give up her contract to provide postal services from July 31st.
In a statement to Clare FM, An Post has confirmed that a new contract has been advertised to fulfil postal services in Miltown Malbay.

The Postal Services Provider is currently reviewing applications and says at this stage, it has no reason to believe there won’t be a successful applicant in place and a smooth handover in July.
