Gardaí have decribed a burglary at a house in Miltown Malbay as frightening.
Two men, dressed in dark clothing gained entry to a house at Caherogan around 12.30am on Sunday morning by breaking a side window and ransacked the house.

There was one person in the house at the time of the burglary.
Sgt Joe Downey of Ennis Garda Station is appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
