The CEO of the Midwest’s new state-of-the-art private hospital has vowed to continue to collaborate with the HSE to help alleviate pressure on the public health system.
Bon Secours Health System is creating 300 new jobs at its facility in Ballysimon, Limerick which is currently under construction and is on track to welcome its first patients in September this year.
It’s currently undertaking a recruitment drive with a view to doubling its existing workforce to include a wide range of roles across several medical and non-medical disciplines, with a particular focus on nursing and specialised medical teams.
High levels of overcrowding are consistently recorded at University Hospital Limerick and CEO of Bon Secours Hospital Limerick, Jason Kenny has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus their expansion into medicine will have an impact on the provision of healthcare in the region.
