MidWest Simon doesn’t expect the number of homeless children in Clare to decrease before Christmas.
As of October 20th, there are currently 17 families in emergency accommodation – including 37 children.

It comes as the number of presentations to the Clare Homeless Action Team has increased by 41% this October compared to last.
CEO of MidWest Simon, Jackie Bonfield, says even if families can secure accommodation before the festive period, others will take their place.
