Midwest Simon Criticises Govt For Failing To Impact On Rising Homeless Numbers

Midwest Simon has criticised the Government for failing to make enough of an impact on rising levels of homelessness.

The Housing Minister has come under fire over his track record, after homeless figures exceeded 10,000 nationally for the first time – here in Clare 70 adults were in emergency accommodation and 136 children across the Midwest.

Midwest Simon’s Housing Support Team leader believes that the matter has been sidelined, with Brexit the main area of concern for the Government.
