Midwest Simon CEO Anticipating Winter Spike In Number Of People Becoming Homeless Here

The CEO of Midwest Simon says the charity is preparing itself for an increase in the number of people presenting to its services this winter.

It comes as new figures show this region retains the highest level of homelessness per head of the population in the country.

63 people are classified as being without a home in Clare according to the Department of Housing, with 17 of them children.
