A Sinn Fein Senator has called on Oireachtas members in Clare and the Midwest to ask for the return of Shannon Airport to the DAA.
It comes after Transport Minister Eamon Ryan appeared to have cooled any prospect of a change in Shannon’s structures.

Minister Ryan has acknowledged “acute” problems at the airport – but it appears these won’t be solved by the Dublin Airport Authority.
Senator Paul Gavan says the Minister should be asked to elaborate on his views.
