MidWest House Prices Jump By 22% In A Year

Residential property prices in the MidWest have jumped by 22 percent in the space of a year – the highest rate of increase nationally.

Figures released by the CSO show that the average price of a property in this region is rising much faster than the national rate of increase, at 12 percent.

The MidWest is also experiencing a much more rapid rise than the capital, where a 9 percent jump in house prices was seen in the year to the end of June.
