MidWest Homeless Organisation Says Young People Getting Trapped In Emergency Accommodation

A prominent MidWest homeless organisation says young people are getting ‘trapped’ in emergency accommodation.

Novas, who operate the First Family Hub in Ennis, say 20% of those they house in their hubs across the country are aged between 18 and 24.

It comes as the first Youth Homeless Strategy in over 20 years was launched by the government this week.
