A MidWest Autism Advocate is calling on the government to enhance the Disability Allowance in Budget 2024.
It follows the publication of the Summer Economic Statement, which indicates the government will have an additional €2billion euro to spend on budget day.

The latest census figures identified over 21% of Clare’s population to be living with a disability, while Ireland is currently the lowest ranking country in the EU in terms of employment within the community .
