A recheck of ballot papers is officially underway in the Midlands Northwest constituency to fill the last seat in Europe.

There are just 275 votes separating the two remaining candidates Independent Marian Harkin and Fianna Fáil's Pat The Cope Gallagher.
The process involves examining the number one votes of the first elected MEP for the constituency Independent Luke Ming Flanagan.
It's expected to take a number of days to complete.
