Nurses in the Mid West are to meet tonight to discuss serious overcrowding at the region's main hospital.

Today University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country with 46 people on trolleys in the emergecncy department and in overflow areas of wards at the facility.
Clare FM understands the Irish Nurses and Midwives organisation will decide tonight on whether to hold a ballot for industrial action acrss the region.
