Michael Noonan Lambasts Greek Government

Michael Noonan has lambasted the tactics of the Greek government – saying their referendum on a proposed austerity deal was "disastrous".

He was speaking as EU finance ministers met in Brussels to discuss short-term financing options for the Greek government.

Greece is 2 billion euro in arrears to the IMF and is due to repay 3.5 billion euro to the ECB next week.

Arriving in Brussels, Michael Noonan said the tactics taken by Greece have caused them worse economic problems.
