A large piece of debris that's been washed up on an island in the Indian Ocean may be from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

It disappeared in March last year flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board.
A US official claims air safety investigators have a "high degree of confidence" it is from a Boeing 777, the same aircraft as the missing plane.
