Met Éireann Extends Wind Warning Issued For Clare

A low level yellow weather alert for wind issued for Clare has been extended by Met Éireann.

The yellow weather warning takes effect from 4pm on Sunday and remains in place until midnight, having initially been forecasted to expire at 10 o’clock.

Met Eireann is forecasting strong and gusty south west winds over the weekend, which could result in some wave overtopping, loose object displaced, some fallen trees and branches and difficult travelling conditions.

The alert will also be in place in Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Wexford, Wicklow.
