Met Éireann has issued its highest possible weather warning – a Red Alert – for Clare for tomorrow afternoon.
Storm Jorge is making its way to Ireland and between 1 and 4pm tomorrow, Clare is bracing itself for winds of between 85 and 100km per hour in places, with gusts of between 130 and 145kmph.

This is on top of the orange wind warning in place for the remainder of Saturday, while a yellow rainfall warning is already in effect for Clare.
