A yellow rain alert has been issued for Clare.
Met Éireann has forecast heavy and persistent rain which could lead to flooding and travel disruption.

The alert comes into effect at midnight tonight and lasts until 6am on Wednesday.
It also applies to Limerick, Tipperary, Cork, Kerry, Donegal and Connacht.
