Met Eireann has issued a yellow high temperature warning for Clare.
Temperatures in excess of 27 degrees combined with night-time temperatures of 15 degrees are forecast from noon today until 6 o’clock tomorrow evening.

The forecaster is warning of potential water safety issues, due to increased use of lakes and beaches, forest fires, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and heat stress.
The warning also covers Limerick, Galway, Tipperary, Kerry, Kilkenny, Laois and Offaly.
