Mental Health Nurses Left With ‘No Alternative’ But To Strike

It’s claimed nurses working in mental health services feel they’ve no alternative but to strike.

It comes as the Psychiatric Nurses Association has announced plans for a three-day strike next month, from February 12th to 14th.

That coincides with three of the planned strike days by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, with both unions citing staff recruitment and retention, as well as pay, for the motivators behind the move.
