Two men have been remanded by a court in Northern Ireland after mortars were found in a van in Derry on Sunday night.

The pair – both in their thirties – face three charges, including conspiring to cause an explosion.
35 year-old Seamus McLaughlin from Eastway in Creggan, Derry and 37 year-old Gary McDaid from Glenowen Park, Creggan, Derry were both remanded in custody.
