China’s President is today being presented with a memento of his visit to Co. Clare last year.

An Irish delegation, including Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen, is in China for a series of functions this week, including a meeting with Xi Jingping.
While still the country’s Vice President, Mr. Xi visited Shannon Airport, Bunratty Castle, the Cliffs of Moher and the farm of James Lynch in Sixmilebridge.
Today, Deputy Breen, who is Chairman of the Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee, is presenting the Chinese President with a photograph of the now 15-month-old Friesian heifer named after him during that visit.
