TDs and Senators who want to serve on the banking inquiry will be made to take a "bias test".

The test will ensure that members of the inquiry team haven’t made prejudicial comments about potential witnesses – which could see any criminal proceedings thrown out of court.
The new Committee is expected to be up and running by May – before the Local and European elections.
