A briefing for business owners on traffic management arrangements for the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is taking place this evening.
Clare County Council says the town of Ennis will effectively become an ‘Event Site’ and plans will have to made to ensure compliance with codes of practice, and health and safety legislation.
The purpose today's briefing is to outline the proposed traffic arrangements and other matters relating to the hosting of the prestigious international event.
More than 400,000 people from all over Ireland and across the world are expected to descend on the Clare County Town this August.
