Meeting Over U.S. Plan To Tackle Islamic State

Ministers from 30 countries are meeting in Paris this morning to discuss the proposed US-led alliance to combat Islamic State extremists.

International efforts have taken on added urgency after the beheading of British aid worker David Haines – and the threat to kill a second UK hostage.

Alan Henning was snatched after travelling to Syria as part of an aid convoy.
